Meet Anjum Khan
Psychologist | Educator | Child & Family Advocate

Anjum Khan is a warm, curious, and passionate psychologist who has spent over a decade helping children—and their families—shine. A registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Anjum brings together clinical expertise and educational insight, thanks to her dual qualifications in psychology (Deakin University) and teaching (VIT-registered primary educator).

Anjum’s approach is equal parts heart and science. She has extensive experience working across schools, clinics, and family settings, where she turns thorough assessments into practical, real-world strategies that support learning, development, and wellbeing. Her toolkit includes gold-standard assessments and evidence-based therapies to support children experiencing learning difficulties, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and emotional regulation challenges. She is also a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS and is currently completing advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).

Being a parent to three children herself, Anjum understands firsthand the complexities of raising children and the importance of timely support. She’s a strong believer in early identification of neurodevelopmental and emotional challenges, as this empowers families and helps children build the foundations for a resilient and fulfilling life.

Anjum is bilingual and is committed to providing inclusive and culturally sensitive care. She works closely with children, adolescents, and their families through a collaborative, strength-based, and compassionate lens. Her calm, nurturing presence helps create a space where individuals can feel safe, reflect deeply, and thrive.

Drawing on a holistic approach, Anjum integrates a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to each individual’s needs, including:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
• Schema Therapy
• Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
